Susanna Watson, Geneva, Illinois

Susanna is a communicator and team-builder who knows that the toughest situations can be solved when you make work visible, ignite team passion, and unlock your experts to focus on the right priorities. She enjoys using problem-solving and continuous improvement tools to generate quick-wins and deliver large-scale transformations. Her people-centered approach is anchored in an organization's cultural system and powered by data.

Susanna is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt leader with 10+ years of experience in driving small and large-scale initiatives. Her work experience includes Nielsen, Andersen Worldwide and the North Michigan Avenue Association in Chicago. She has been an independent consultant with Watson Inspired, Inc since January 2020 and has worked for industry-leader organizations across healthcare, pharmaceutical, higher-education, manufacturing, utility providers and more.  

Her certifications and training include: Nielsen Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, 2018; certified ASQ Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, 2017; certified Scrum Master, Scrum Alliance, 2016; Nielsen Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, 2016; Nielsen Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, 2007; LaMarsh & Associates Managed Change Program 2005.

Susanna earned a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from Illinois State University and has extensive professional experience working globally. Susanna has volunteered with SCORE Fox Valley since April 2021.
